What file format do I need?
PortBlend enforces strict formatting requirements. You must upload a file (CSV, TSV, TXT, or Excel) containing a clear Date column and a numeric NAV (Net Asset Value) or price column. Duplicate dates and non-numeric data are not allowed, and any extra columns are ignored.
Is my data stored anywhere?
No. Your CSV files are loaded into memory, processed, and discarded. Nothing is written to disk. We never see your strategy data.
What is Drawdown Dynamics?
Drawdown Dynamics — a single-series analysis module. It breaks down maximum drawdown, episode duration, recovery time, and monthly stress periods for any NAV series.
What is Portfolio Blending?
Portfolio Blending — the portfolio construction module. Upload multiple NAV series, set weights, and examine the combined portfolio including per-symbol drawdown contribution and dominance warnings.
Can I use PortBlend for ETFs and not just trading strategies?
Yes. Any historical NAV or price series works — ETFs, mutual funds, Bitcoin, Gold, or custom portfolios. If it has a date and a price history, PortBlend can analyse it.
Will the Early Access price change?
Yes. The $5/month launch price is for early users only. When regular pricing of $9/month takes effect, existing subscribers will receive at least 3 months notice by email before any change.
What does the onboarding session include?
A 45-minute video call where we walk through your own data together — uploading, running Drawdown Dynamics and Portfolio Blending, interpreting the results, and setting up your allocation analysis. Plus 30 days of email follow-up.
Do I need to be a systematic trader to use PortBlend?
No. Discretionary traders, ETF investors, asset allocators, and wealth managers all use PortBlend. You just need historical performance data in CSV format.
